Research Conference

A band of researchers from another school have a grudge with Audrey gaining the attention of the Nobel laureate judging the conference and ultimately deciding major funding projects for each school. Audrey had been setting up her poster and display while Regan had gone to get lunch. The group of Rosoone students approached Audrey’s booth and instantly she was on alert. How could they not be up to something?

“Hey I don’t want any trouble and I don’t mean to provoke anyone by being here. Professor Dossa is a co-sponsor with your advisor and I’m sorry, but I’m not the one who decided that.”

“Awww well isn’t this convenient?” Nathan replied, “This girl prick wants no trouble now after threatening the very thing we at Rosoone pride ourselves with. We are the best of the best and anyone who thinks they have a chance at coming close to our sneezes are delusional.”

Meanwhile, Taya gave Audrey a big bear hug blocking her field of view. Warrus took their project generating massive amounts of heat and stood right next to Audrey’s poster where she displays her groundbreaking results. The writing began to melt and Audrey broke free from Taya to give a glare at Warrus. “If you really feel so secure at being the best then why were you so compelled to do that?!?”

Warrus grinned, “Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry Audrey, but if you really were a professional you would have kept that under wraps and paid extra for the protective glass. Accidents happen right.” The gang all laughed as they walked away and Taya’s voice in the distance said all this winning makes me hungry. Who wants chips and guac?
