Allyson Gust Hunt

After destroying the library, the public is quick to throw Allyson Gust in the proverbial and literal flames. There was not enough seats on the plane to get out of the West Coast wildfires and knowing this Allyson kept a low profile. Her disguise was blown to be thrown to the mob mentality to not let her on the plane by the overly protective male flight attendant who follows whatever his girlfriend the pilot does. The pilot happened to not be a fan of the Allyson Gust hate, but was too busy you know getting ready to evacuate hundreds of people, that she missed this interaction. Allyson then battles the flames while thinking what she did to deserve this. She spots a puppy struggling and a slow tortoise and makes a basket from Audrey’s prior instruction to carry them with her. Meanwhile, the plane is halfway across the state when the male flight attendant comes in with a drink for his pilot fiancé (non-alcoholic of course) to smugly gloat that he turned Allyson Gust away. The fiancé goes, “What are you crazy? I may not like her recent actions, but I’m not leaving someone to die because of that. We could have a little discomfort if it meant we saved a life.”

Later the fickle public realizes they were wrong in the smear against Allyson and does little to account for what they did since, “She’s a pop-star and she can take it.” Instead they subtly note that they were jealous and didn’t deal with their issues from their past to have a healthy relationship with successful women. Allyson still forgives them and remembers when she was still part of the public when it was someone else on the chopping block.

The public asks Audrey why she believed Allyson the whole time and Audrey said she never felt threatened by her since they live completely different lives. People make fun of her being a hipster, but it’s important to be able to think independently and not jump on the bandwagon.
