Audrey was on the land of a new society and she needed to learn how best to live to get by. The brainnauts had decided that all women must wear their hair in braids. That’s fine and all, but Audrey had just cut her’s in a fit of rage from waking up with bed head from the study couch one too many times. The brainnauts require all hair to be perfect with no flyaways maybe one or two will let you off with a warning. The girl with too much on her mind was already bad at braiding so she decided to grow her hair long so as to cut corners a bit. As she began to do this and put rosemary in her locks to make it grow faster, the villagers began to get so excited as her hair was so shiny and long that they wanted to experiment new braids with it.
With her new braids she had a meeting with the second in command brainnaut. They did not like that it was other people’s skills contributing to the beauty of her braids. So they sent her on a mission to swim across a lake and climb up a cliff to clean up a campsite left by Jay and the team. Jay was still recovering from the volcano’s heat and soot he breathed in during the rescue mission. So that meant Audrey had to set up and climb the ropes herself.
The first part of the cliff was easy, but at the top there was nowhere for the rope. There was however a broken bridge that ended right at the cliff and Audrey had been using the large splinters to help get her foot up. She gathered the items and paraglided down to save herself a swim. This mission required several trips and on the second to last one as she climbed up the large splinter she rested her calve on broke and fell off into the water…probably killing a fish or two. Her eyes widened with fear as she knew she couldn’t carry them all. It was getting late though and the weather wouldn’t be bad until next week so she set up the remaining camp and to think.
