Do most normal people really just expect everything to work out like it does on paper and live the most bleak dull lives imaginable? All I hear from anyone when they’re talking about some person with this or that mental health issue is some person experienced life and had emotions that were not ideal. Then we have some drugs to get rid of that entirely, just dull the senses completely. Lose your humanity in the sake of productivity and share holder value. Do you know how stupid that sounds? Then you all act like you’re the better ones. How weak are you that you can’t be a little uncomfortable in life to actually experience it? Everyone calls it an illness as if it’s something you’ll get over and then acts like it’s the greatest thing to tell people about it. WE ARE ALL HUMAN. No one is any better than others I don’t care what the science says when most of it is circumstance.” Audrey mimicked a look of panic, “Oh, but the brain chemistry changed,” she stopped mocking, “It’s like none of you learned about fight or flight. It helps no one actually find the answer or make any refinements. So when you act like you don’t have some trait just because you weren’t hit by something traumatizing doesn’t mean you’re a stronger model. I don’t know who is writing this rule book, but they clearly don’t know what they are doing or they do and the interests are not for us.
