How to Burn

The biggest slap in the face to new money people with a better position than you is act like it’s worthless to you. “Oh how’s that smaller house treating you Audrey?” Audrey smiled softly knowing she was going to destroy them. “It’s wonderful I’m so glad you asked Wallace.” Wallace continued in a smug gloating tone, “Yeah, our new house is so great our yard is 11 acres. Great for our private golf course. Do you ever get outside or are you still studying like a common laborer?” Audrey sat back, “Yes, I am still taking my time enjoying the slow progression of my goals. I’ve felt that I spent so much time in my 50 acre forest and the Chateau growing up that it’s interesting to have a second life. I’ve had all those needs of showing off that you’re worth something in the world provided to me when I was a concept of an idea. I’ve spent that and it’s freeing to not have to stay up all hours of the night to only truncate my sad miserable life serving others that only see me as a means to an end of their own dreams. I find it an interesting study. I never had a ramen phase and I think it’s adorable that I get to experience it like the town did majority of their life. I love being a part of things. I’m so glad that I am indulging in it when my brain and body is fully grown so it does not inhibit my development.” She smiled softly, “I hear when it’s too early then you become an alcoholic with no way to ever recover. Combines with your dna or something.” She walked away.
